Homecoming is one of the best times of the year. It’s not just about the dance it’s about getting dressed up, hanging out with your friends and making memories you’ll look back on forever.
But before all that, you’ve got to find the perfect dress and figure out where to take those killer photos that’ll make your Insta pop. Don’t stress I’m here to help with some of the best places to shop and snap pics, plus where I’d go myself!
Where to Find the Perfect Dress
Finding the right dress can be stressful you want something that makes you feel amazing but doesn’t totally empty your wallet.
Windsor is where I’d start because they have tons of styles that look cute and won’t cost you a million dollars. Plus, trying on dresses in person is so much easier than shopping online.
If you’re into something a little more unique or trendy, Lucy in the Sky is a fun boutique with some seriously cool dresses. For those who want to go all out and feel like royalty, Sherri Hill dresses are stunning — but fair warning, they can be pretty pricey. And if you’re more of an online shopper, Princess Polly has some super cute options that are perfect for homecoming vibes.
I’d pick Windsor because I love being able to try on a bunch and find one that just feels right. There’s nothing like that moment when you find the dress.
Best Spots for Homecoming Photos
Now for the fun part: photos! You want spots that’ll show off your style and capture how amazing you feel.
Downtown Old Market is one of the best places for that cool, urban vibe the colorful streets and lights make everything look more alive. OPPD Park is great if you want a chill, natural background with lots of greenery.
If you’re into classic, timeless pics, Boys Town Church has gorgeous architecture, and Regency is perfect if you want a fancy garden vibe. Pitch is a cool, modern spot if you want something different and sleek.
If I had to choose, I’d go with Downtown Old Market every time. It just has that energy and fun that makes photos stand out plus, it’s a great place to walk around and get hyped before the dance.
So yeah, whether you’re stressing over your dress or your photos, just remember: Homecoming is about having fun and making memories. Find a dress that makes you feel confident, grab your friends and snap those pics that you’ll treasure forever.
You got this.
