This theme was among many other options. Such as Under the Sea, Y2K, ‘90s, or Enchanted Garden.
There as quite a bit of deliberation as to what the theme would be. Student Council had many ideas and some just did not make the cut.
“I love this year’s homecoming theme because Enchanted Garden is a very beautiful theme, and you can do a lot with it! I also really like the vibe of it so I was excited when it came out. There wasn’t anything I was really disappointed with this year’s theme. I mean, I didn’t not like last year’s theme. I thought that was pretty chill,” Kyndall Rios (11) said.
Compared to last year’s theme which was Night in the City, this Enchanted Garden theme is really likable. There was a lot more detail put into props this year which may have helped the dance feel more enjoyable.
“We were actually supposed to choose the theme at the end of the year, last year. However, the end of the year gets pretty hectic. We had some options, but we didn’t really vote on them until we got back to school in August,” English teacher Cierra Mitchell said.
