Is one person enough for energy conservation?  

Cleaning the planet has always been a big thing for people who actually want to help. A big question is one person enough for this? Maybe they are, they can be the small spark that starts it all. People preach cleaning the planet more than they practice it. That needs to change, people need to actually help out and make the difference instead of saying they will and end up not doing it.  

“I think an institution should take the initiative of people to help out because the more people involved, the more work that can be done- its easier to get people into it when there is more than one person speaking for the cause, it’s kind of how a movement starts. One person starts and then they rally people and it becomes a community thing, it developed enough and become an institution and what they stand for starts to move like waves because one person cane make a difference, but a group can be heard over all the noise.” Tajada Policarpe said.  

Institutions can be the bigger spark needed for more people to help, while it may start off as one person, a group would make a bigger difference than one person. Institutions need to be the biggest voice in the room for people to understand that helping is really what this planet needs. For people to understand they need to what they can help out, they need to see what they do in their everyday life effects this planet negatively.  

Once they see that, then they want to help. That is part of the spark, part of the change that this world needs. 

“As far as having a big push for environmentalism, I think that one person can be a really good spark. But one person, unless its like Bill Gates or Warren Buffet or somebody that has a substantial amount of money, it’s really hard for one individual to make a severe impact.” Alison Lane said. “We really need to have a lot more institutions helping back these environmental movements and trying to make sure that we’re doing more to help our environment. It’s not the individuals that are causing the problems to our environment. It’s the large corporations and the mass movement of materials across this planet. I think that one individual, Greta Thunberg, has done a really good job of bringing an awareness to it, and shes now part of a bigger institution where theres a lot more people involved. So, I think that is definitely does need to be more from the institutions.” 

There has been people who’ve started movements to help clean this planet and they have become really big to the point they are doing a lot more than one person could do. So, yes, institutions should be taking the lead when it comes to helping clean the environment. 

“I think if one person has the voice, they could absolutely get people to help out. Starting off either by protesting on their own or having courage to speak to people around them would help get others to help out” Diamond Young said. “Especially since if they get enough people that want change, it can be shown on the news or some place higher up. In all I do believe that one person can start the change.”
