Synergy, prepares to host Burke Bonanza, show choir competition

After school on Jan. 20, “Synergy” show choir members, staff and some of their families gathered to set up for the annual Burke Bonanza Show Choir Competition to be held today. The group had to prepare for 11 mixed show choir groups, five womens groups and one mens group.

The first performance will start at 8:30 a.m. with Papillion-LaVista’s “Monarchy.” The event is scheduled to end at around 9:45 p.m. with the awards.

Tickets for the full day will be $12 for general admission. Students (with valid ID), veterans and senior citizens will be $10 for the full day. Children three and under will be free. Those wishing only to attend the finals which start at 7:15 p.m., will have to pay $8.
