Black Friday is no longer just a one-day event.
It’s pre-Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving Day and now, there’s even Cyber-Monday.
Historically, Black Friday is consistently, without fail the day after Thanksgiving — until now.
Maybe you look at ads after your feast or look online all year round to prepare. No matter what it is there if you like it or not. Some people love Black Friday, some people hate it. The chaos, the fighting, the parking lots overflowing with people.
“The vibe is there everyone loves to shop on Black Friday otherwise you wouldn’t be there even though it’s a little crazy,” Lyla Mayle (09) said.
So many different places to go, but the more important thing is what you buy from those same stores.
“The best purchase is this hoodie I got, because I love sweaters and hoodies,” Keziah Etse (12) said. “It was like this blue Mickey Mouse hoodie and I am insanely obsessed with Mickey Mouse and I was so happy that I got it.”
The biggest thing Black Friday is known for is the sales. Everything from A-to-Z, you will probably find on sale, this can be very helpful in the long run.
“A long time ago we were looking online to see what coupons and sales there were and we found like a TV that was $700 at first, then it was like $350,” Anishka Senouvo (10) said.
