Freshman take the gap from middle school to high school in many different ways. You’re in a bigger group of kids, you’re given much more control, much more work, and more responsibilities as a student to take care of.
Some students adapt fast and some still need time catching up. This can all be determined in the students first semester of high school.
“It was pretty good actually, I liked it a lot more better than middle school.” Thoshita Barau said.
After winter break, students will start the second semester of the 2024-2025 school year after their homestretch and start with a grade reset.
“I have the hang of it down so it will probably be a bit more smoother for me” Barau said.
