Chloe Price is a Burke senior, most commonly spotted helping in our schools rockstar classes as an aid. She is very committed to keeping our school organized and accepting. School being a safe environment and a relaxing place for every student to learn is extremely important to her.
“School spirit is heavily lacking in schools, and it is hard to see engaged and energetic kids, even as a fellow student,” Chloe says, explaining how important education is to her. She treasures the idea of equal and exciting opportunities for all students throughout the world.
“It is a lot to juggle for one student, but I find it fun to make sure our community I inclusive and determined,” she says, going ahead to explain the many extracurricular activities she participates in. Chloe is her class president, student council vice president, soccer team vice, captain, placed nationally in ed rising, and is involved in the NHS historian comity.
“It makes me feel good to give back to people, being nice is free!” Chloe says, telling me about the community service she does and other volunteer work. Among many different routines, being a teachers aid for special education classes speaks to her the loudest.
“I love seeing how excited they get when hey learn new skills and do new things, helping them learn and grow to care for themselves is so inspiring,” she explains eagerly. Chloe is a teachers aid in elementary schools and even help plan school activities so the younger children can have a fun time.
“Some of the teachers aids I have seen at Burke have been so mean to the kids, I knew they needed encouragement, and I was willing to be there,” Chloe says, referring to the role she plays, aiding teachers and students in our schools rockstar classes. She’s seen often with the kids, showing kindness and care while being nurturing and enthusiastic.
“My grandma was so kind and passionate with the kids she taught; she was devoted and caring. I wanna be a teacher like that for the kids I meet. Special education classes were a later thought, but I want everyone to have equal opportunities to live the best life possible,” Chloe reminisces, explaining the way her grandmothers love, and good ethics effected her ad stuck with her for life, furthering to influence her to be as kind as she can.
“School can be stressful for a lot of students, it is unfair to create extra stress with unfair opportunities and discouraging staff. I wanna make sure school feels the safest and most welcoming that it can,” she tells. Chloe is passionate about school spirit, hard work, and good morals. She works hard and plans many school events, like spirit weeks, pep rallies, and smaller functions, Additionally, she does the same for the elementary schools that she helps aid at.
Chloe passionately believes in spreading kindness, helping others, and being as caring and welcoming as possible. She is very skilled academically, talented at soccer and choir, committed to the College of Saint Mary, and seems to have the guts and brains to create a change. Her maturity and kindness seem as if they will never run out and assist her in having a beautiful future.
