Irene Jones (11) is all about the people and relationships in her life.
What matters most to her isn’t just what she does, but who she is to everyone around her.
“Something I’m really proud of, just based off of who I am as a person, is how, like, the person I am as a friend and a sister,” Jones said.
Irene spoke about the people around her instead of focusing on herself, particularly focusing on her relationship with her little sister.
“I would say that I do a pretty good job of being her sister, and I’m also very proud to be her sister,” Jones said.
A caring and nurturing person, Jones doesn’t just stop with family. Jones also sees herself as a very reliable friend.
“As a friend, I think I am a pretty caring person,” Jones said. “I’m always there to listen to my friends and to try my best to help them through tough times they’re going through.”
When it comes to the people who support her, Jones shines the light back to her family. She mentioned how much her sister and mom check in on her, making it very clear how valuable she is to them.
“Honestly, my whole family,” Jones said. “They’ve all been there, but just my sister, Maggie, and my mom definitely take time to kind of check in with me. It’s really evident that they kind of really care about where I’m at.”
For a fun fact about her, Jones confessed her love for shopping.
“I have, like, buyer’s remorse every time I go shopping and then like a week later, I will wear that shirt, like, every other day, because I love it so much,” Jones said.
