Do you think everyone should be equal?
What we see in the world now, is that a lot of men are coming up with the decisions for what women can do with their bodies and it just isn’t right. You see people who don’t see eye to eye with the LGBTQ+ community and is banning things that make them who they are. You see a lot of sexual violence against women, especially if the man thinks their superior when their not. You see restricted healthcare access in places; a not so great example is what’s happening in Palestine right now.
If you look at a male dominated job or sport, I want to know how many women you see in those jobs or sports. Tell me how it makes you feel. Male or female is always a question, “which is better at doing what?,” If I get asked that question I would say the women is better at way more things than a man and maybe that’s because I am woman and I will stand up for them. Women have also showed themselves to be much stronger than man, not only in physical strength but with mental and emotional strength. I personally think that men should stop bringing down groups of people who get the most discrimination. I know its not just men who do this but a majority of it is men.
Look at the trans community. What are their genders? Is it what they were born as or is it what they want to be? If you say the first one, you’re wrong, not entirely but if you call them by what they were born as then you definitely are and you should grow some human decency and be respectful to what their gender is. Especially when it comes to their rights, basic rights at that. Its not right that people get to make these rights for people they don’t even know and the people that get affected by this are the people that are being discriminated. You cannot take away these people’s basic rights just because their trans. Its makes no sense and shouldn’t be happening.
I want these things to linger in your mind. Remember how the world isn’t moving forward its just going backwards. People should have the freedom to be whoever they want to be, to love whoever they want to love, to be able to live with no fear. I want you to keep these thoughts in your mind, think of these groups of people that get affected by gender-based violence, getting rights taken away, sexual violence, women’s choices getting taken away from them.
If you look at all of this as a whole you would see that a good percentage of people that do this is men. I would like to know why because they have no right to touch anyone after they say “stop,” they have no right in taking a whole community of people’s rights away, these men shouldn’t be allowed to do this, its not right or fair that they get to play the part of being the good guys when they’re not. It makes a lot of women including myself mad when they see or hear something that has been done by a man and the thing that was done was a horrible thing. How many people have to live in despair because of something bad that has been taken from them, people live in fear because they don’t know if they get to live or die the next day. This needs to be stopped and some people need to start to think about their actions and what’s its caused to the people affected by it. I think that all of these groups should be treated as equal as a man does and that there should be more representation of women in any male dominated career, trans people should get the rights they deserve, whenever a man hurts a woman he should get what he deserves. I think everyone should be treated equally.
