Are you team white lights or do you like a more colorful Christmas?

As the holiday lights start going up all around town, the debate between a classic white light or a multi color Christmas has been lighting up as well.

“White lights seem aesthetically pleasing but plain,” Roslyn Wells said. “So, every year, I’m always going to go with the multicolored Christmas lights because it’s very nostalgic and reminds me a lot of just hanging out with my family, and we set a day out to put up lights, which was always like my favorite time of year”.

This has really been a big debate that’s been all over TikTok, specifically between newlywed couples. Many users are posting about the clash between a partner from a “white light household” and a “Multi colored household.”

“I chose the multicolored lights because they definitely remind me of when I was younger, and my mom would have to detangle all the tangled-up Christmas lights,” Wells said. “I just came from a mostly color-light household. Because of how we did it, it was multicolored lights, multicolored decorations, multicolored everything for Christmas time. So, you know, it just seems natural now to migrate towards it.”
